Senate Passes PACT Act

The below link outlines the Senate’s recent passage of the long-awaited Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2022, commonly known as the PACT Act. This law constitutes one of the most major expansions in VA history of health care and benefits available for veterans exposed to toxic substances. The law adds 23 new conditions for which veterans exposed to toxins such as burn pits may claim eligibility for presumptive service connection. It also expands eligible service locations for veterans applying for benefits and who have been exposed to Agent Orange or radiation.
